Who would have thought beingness a nanny to two young boys might finish upwardly costing Darcy Maddox her life? This is exactly the situation Darcy finds herself in when her gangster boss, Johnny Fontana, is targeted for murder by the head of an infamous crime family. This is a great action-packed romantic suspense that will keep you on your toes and leave y'all hoping for a happily ever afterwards. It's also a story about learning to trust, taking chances, and letting go of the by. The title, When I Notice Y'all, is Who would have thought being a nanny to 2 immature boys might end up costing Darcy Maddox her life? This is exactly the situation Darcy finds herself in when her gangster dominate, Johnny Fontana, is targeted for murder by the head of an infamous crime family unit. This is a neat action-packed romantic suspense that will keep you on your toes and go out you lot hoping for a happily ever subsequently. Thinking this is merely a mundane babysitting task, he doesn't see Darcy as a challenge until she bests him as he tries to intercept her:

He certainly hadn't expected her to exist so damn young and pretty. His hand went to the gash on his temple again. Maybe he would forgive her for knocking his lights out…right later on he throttled her."

Darcy's "trust-o-meter" is style off, and she no longer knows who volition protect her.

Afterwards Walker saves Darcy from a serial of haphazard events, she starts to think he might be one of the good guys and reluctantly allows him to take her to a safe house:

I really like Darcy's character. She is a chip naïve and inexperienced, but she shows courage and strength throughout the entire story. Thank goodness with her life in danger, she doesn't play the rebellious heroine who makes rash decisions, thinking she, alone, tin take intendance of herself. She listens to Walker, fifty-fifty when, others suggest that he tin can't exist trusted, and through their time together, she gradually gets to know the man behind the battle-hardened warrior.

Walker is a swoon-worthy hero and conveying a lot of emotional baggage. Suffering from PTSD and guilt over his past actions, he refuses to believe he is deserving of someone so sweet and pure as Darcy.

Regardless, Walker finds he wants more than merely to exist Darcy'due south protector. His charm, his sense of humour, and his sweetness brand me but want to reach out and give him a hug, even though I remember he would scowl at the adjectives I only attributed to him.

This is the 2d book in the Trust No One series. Although the characters, Joe and Cara, do play a function in this story, the book tin still stand lone.

I had this 1 checked out from my electronic library for 3 weeks and had but 9 hours before information technology disappeared from my kindle app. I had read the beginning in the series and had liked information technology but just wasn't in the mood for the second book. I decided to outset the book at ten:00 at night to meet if I wanted to bank check the volume out again. 4 hours later I went to bed asking myself why I hadn't read this book equally soon as I had checked it out.
The book was swell with Walker and Darcy very believable and with me rooti I had this one checked out from my electronic library for 3 weeks and had simply 9 hours before information technology disappeared from my kindle app. I had read the first in the series and had liked it but just wasn't in the mood for the second book. I decided to start the book at 10:00 at dark to see if I wanted to check the book out again. 4 hours later I went to bed asking myself why I hadn't read this book as soon equally I had checked it out.
The book was great with Walker and Darcy very conceivable and with me rooting for them to assemble. Although some of the plot was predictable, it seemed and then only in hindsight and wasn't and so much so that I did not savor the book. Cannot wait until I read the next one. ...more

Romance Suspense fans will enjoy this read. Sexy Sexy...did I mention Sexy Hero "Walker", y'all will take to read to find out his Full name. Walker is my favorite kind of hero, rough, a little tortured and in demand of a Sweet lady to love him, and he find that and a whole lot more than!!

You don't have to read the first book in the serial to follow the volume, but I think I will go back and read it anyway!

Romance Suspense fans will enjoy this read. Sexy Sexy...did I mention Sexy Hero "Walker", you will take to read to find out his Total name. Walker is my favorite kind of hero, crude, a trivial tortured and in need of a Sugariness lady to love him, and he find that and a whole lot more!!

Y'all don't take to read the first book in the series to follow the book, but I retrieve I will become dorsum and read information technology anyhow!

Once once again, Dixie Lee Brown's riveting style of writing kept me on the edge of my seat! This is the third novel I've read in the Trust No Ane Series, and I couldn't put it down. Ms. Dark-brown knows how to develop believable characters that you get emotionally involved with from page 1. Darcy'due south a nanny on the run, sweet and unfailingly honest, her personality is endearing. Walker, the mercenary sent to protect her, is and so complicated, you lot can't help simply want to delve into his mind and observe out what Once again, Dixie Lee Brownish's riveting mode of writing kept me on the edge of my seat! Dixie Lee Brown's books introduced me to a genre of romance that I hadn't ever read, simply her action-packed writing style and intense, fascinating characters have completely sold me on Contemporary Romantic Suspense. Her mercenaries are tough equally nails, all male, some with haunted pasts (similar Walker), searching for something in life that even they can't explain. The women in their lives are a good mix of strength and vulnerability, running from a variety of different bug, and some are even mercenaries themselves (like Alex from Dixie'due south fourth one). I know Dixie'south last Trust No I volume is coming out soon, but I wish information technology didn't have to end.

I became a fan of Ms. Chocolate-brown'due south piece of work with her first book in the Trust No One series, ALL OR Cypher, and was awaiting this 2d release perched on the edge of my seat. Walker, the hero in WHEN I FIND YOU, plays an important secondary role in ALL OR Nothing, and while reading that story I roughshod totally in beloved with him. I couldn't wait to notice more than about him i I am an action, hazard, danger with an element of romance junkie and this latest offer by Dixie Lee Brown fits the bill to a tee! I became a fan of Ms. Brown's work with her beginning book in the Trust No One series, ALL OR Nil, and was awaiting this second release perched on the border of my seat. Walker, the hero in WHEN I FIND YOU, plays an of import secondary function in ALL OR Goose egg, and while reading that story I fell totally in love with him. I couldn't wait to notice more than about him in this book and, more chiefly, watch him find a woman that would assist heal his tortured soul. I was non disappointed. I couldn't put this book downward--about probable because at that place is zero downtime. The reader is propelled from one scene to the side by side without pause AND I LOVE THAT! The suspense of both the sexual tension between Walker and Darcy, not to mention the mystery surrounding the circumstances that plague them, kept me up late into the wee hours of the night. What I liked best of all, though, is that while Darcy, the heroine, is immature, she makes wise decisions. Romantic Suspense is a newer genre for me, but it is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. From the outset chapter of this story, I was hooked. I accept been and then decorated with schoolhouse that I haven't been able to read a full length story but this one I read in ii days. Romantic Suspense is a newer genre for me, but it is speedily becoming a favorite of mine. From the beginning chapter of this story, I was hooked. I have been so busy with school that I haven't been able to read a full length story only this one I read in two days. The merely reason that I didn't stop it in one day was because I started it later in the evening and I couldn't stay upwards all night to finish it.

Darcy is a nanny for a mobster and when a striking on her boss happens, Darcy is in the business firm. When she hears the gunman say "Get the girl" she runs for her life. Little does she know that she puts herself in danger unknowingly and has a hard time trusting a stranger that she comes beyond when she is running for her life.

Walker is called in by his friend, Joe after the U.S. Marshall'south want to find the nanny. When Darcy makes Walker at the airport, he realizes that he made a huge fault and unknowingly put her life in danger by spooking her. Fortunately, Walker used his best judgement and followed them.

Finally, Walker is able to convince Darcy that she is prophylactic with him and the fun begins. The true exam of whether Darcy can trust Walker begins. Watching the ii of them build trust with each other and effigy out who the real bad guy was exciting. Watching the two of them fall in love was astonishing. I loved watching Darcy knock Walter on his figurative @$$! I do love when the hero thinks that he doesn't demand or deserve the love of a good adult female but then realizes how stupid he is.

Great story Ms. Brownish. I will exist reading All or Aught very shortly!

Can Walker go on her rubber, volition the two of them give into the fiery passion they feel or volition the mafia catch both of them? This volume hits the basis running, the first pages are full of action that grabbed my attention and kept me immersed in the story. Darcy is sweet and loving with a strong backbone and a tone of fight. Walker is a bit of a broken hero, he has a past that haunts him, only he as well has a sensitive side that is adorable. I loved Walkers take charge mental attitude because it was tempered with knowing when to allow Darcy space and when to strength the issue. The plot was interesting there are so many twists and turns that I gave up on guessing and only enjoyed the ride. Intriguing Human

Walker and Darcy's story was actually, really good! Walker intrigued me very much since Joe and Cara's story and then I am and so glad this was second in the series. Dixie Lee Brown is a new author for me and this is the second series of hers that I have read. There are still a couple more than in this series I demand to terminate, but I have them all and will be doing so back to dorsum. Afterwards I am done I don't know what I will do...hopefully she is currently busy writing.

Intriguing Man

Walker and Darcy'southward story was really, actually skillful! Walker intrigued me very much since Joe and Cara's story so I am then glad this was 2d in the series. Dixie Lee Brown is a new writer for me and this is the 2d series of hers that I have read. There are even so a couple more in this series I demand to terminate, but I have them all and will exist doing then dorsum to back. Subsequently I am washed I don't know what I volition do...hopefully she is currently busy writing.

I don't like to write spoilers, so all I will say is this story is intriguing and wonderful. Walker and Darcy are perfect for each other. It was too phenomenal to have At present and Cara included in this story considering we become to see where they are set in their relationship.

Dixie Lee Brownish has done it again! Sequels frequently disappoint me, only this 2nd book in the Trust No Ane Series kept me on the edge of my seat... just like Tell No One. The well-paced suspense kept me flipping through the pages. I loved getting closer to Walker, (introduced in book one) a tough human being with a tender heart who simply needed the correct woman to aid him cope with the scars of his past. And who better than Darcy, a adult female potent enough to handle Walker and challenge him at the same time. Dixie Lee Dark-brown has done information technology again! Sequels often disappoint me, simply this 2d volume in the Trust No One Serial kept me on the edge of my seat... just like Tell No I. The well-paced suspense kept me flipping through the pages. I loved getting closer to Walker, (introduced in book one) a tough human being with a tender heart who simply needed the correct woman to help him cope with the scars of his by. And who better than Darcy, a woman stiff enough to handle Walker and challenge him at the same time. This edge-of-your-seat romance will not disappoint! She started working for Johnny Fontana and barbarous in love with his two boys before she found out what Johnny did for a living only past then she did non want to get out. Now as she is running for her life when shots are fired in the house, she wishes she had left earlier. Problem follows her to Oregon and she is stranded in the desert while two men are subsequently her, she is not sure what to do when one man catches up to her and just says "trust me."

Walker received a call from his friend and employer Joe saying they had a job; they needed to intercept Darcy and go along her rubber until the Feds stepped in. Darcy is scared and fortunately her father taught her how to fight, poor Walker's head gets in the fashion of her plans for escape. When he wakes up and tracks her down he needs to convince her to take a bound of organized religion and trust him. Darcy decides that he may exist her best choice and they head to the coast were Joe has a safe firm, to wait.

Walker and Darcy are immediately attracted to each other yet they both need to confront demons and fears from the past in club to motility forward. Darcy has self-conscious issues from an incident in high schoolhouse and Walker has lead a life of danger and does not experience worthy of her amore. And even so they proceed finding themselves in each other's arms while danger is all around. Plus all is not what it seems, Darcy and Walker endeavour to sort out what is truth and what is fiction, however information technology is difficult and fifty-fifty Joe says the Feds have stopped talking and no one is getting answers. Meanwhile the danger escalates.

Darcy should have left her job when she plant out she was a nanny to a mafia man's kids. She had already gotten attached and walking away was non an opportunity. At present she has to run for her life after she witness a crime. Never knowing who to trust she actually clubs the man sent to save her. Walker was spending time on vacation when a favor gets chosen in to protect a adult female fleeing for her life. He has always kept his distance from adult female and this i keeps his emotions tore upwards. She is nothing li Darcy should have left her job when she found out she was a nanny to a mafia homo'southward kids. She had already gotten fastened and walking away was not an opportunity. Now she has to run for her life after she witness a law-breaking. Never knowing who to trust she really clubs the man sent to save her. Walker was spending fourth dimension on vacation when a favor gets chosen in to protect a woman fleeing for her life. He has always kept his distance from woman and this one keeps his emotions tore upwards. She is naught similar he expected. Now along with trying to earn her trust and proceed her alive they both accept to deal with maybe feeling more for each other than they should.

Darcy is non the type to lay down and dice. She fights for her life with everything she has. She tin can also be very middle headed. I liked her a lot! She may demand protection just she isn't shy nearly wanting to brand her own decisions. Walker can at time similar a brick wall. You tin can't tear him down and see his real emotions. He is used to having people follow his orders and Darcy doesn't like to do that. He is strong and does his job very well. He likes to deny his emotions.

This book starts out action packed and never stops till the end. In one case yous pick it up you don't want to put it downwardly. Similar Darcy I had trouble knowing for sure who to trust and what was going on. It keeps you guessing and trying to solve the mystery every bit well as the enjoyment of watching Darcy and Walker fight to keep what they really want under command. Darcy has a few secrets of her own and I love how Walker solves them. He takes matters into his own easily. Even if information technology doesn't earn her respect it does earn him other peoples. I read this in ane sitting equally I was afraid I would miss something if I put it downward. I know it would be at that place waiting for me but I loved all the suspense and getting to know the characters. If you like an action packed book packed full of suspense pick this ane up!

Although it is Volume 2 of the Trust No I series, When I Find You can stand up alone. Not having read Book ane did not hamper my understanding of When I Find You lot. Writer Dixie Lee Brown included lots of danger and apparent mystery, but the plot seemed to elevate due to the number of times that Darcy and Walker change their minds almost their caste of self-doubts or trust in one another. The identity of the villain(s) was credible early on on, thus the "reveals" were anti-climactic. Nevertheless, if you savor the genre of hunky-war machine-veteran-rescues-innocent-damsel y'all may savor the romance story in When I Detect You.

The heroine was a textbook instance of TSTL and irritated the heck out of me. But some examples are:
ane. She hears someone break into her bosses business firm & hears gunshots but does not call the police force. WTF? Yes hiding and then running were valid choices only why would you not also telephone call the police.
ii. She is ON THE RUN from a mob killer and she accepts a ride from a STRANGER she met on the plane.
3.She is has asked the hero ( a professional) to protect her ( turning down the US marshal's service)yet seldom d The heroine was a textbook example of TSTL and irritated the heck out of me. Simply some examples are:
i. She hears someone break into her bosses house & hears gunshots merely does not telephone call the police. WTF? Yes hiding and and then running were valid choices merely why would you not also call the police force.
2. She is ON THE RUN from a mob killer and she accepts a ride from a STRANGER she met on the airplane.
3.She is has asked the hero ( a professional) to protect her ( turning down the Usa marshal'south service)yet seldom does what he says.
4. Her back story - she was raped as a teenager but never told anyone including her POLICEMAN father considering she was worried what he might do. umm possibly arrest the a-pigsty?

Every time I would retrieve - ok just get with information technology she would exercise something else that made we want to slap some sense into her.

I'm on a Romantic Suspense kicking right now and I thought this book looked like it would be really good. Well, it dragged on and on and on, I didn't call back it would ever cease. The h really was too stupid to live and in fact I was hoping during one of the many idiotic things that she did to put herself in danger that she would actually end up expressionless and then that the H could get on to someone worth being with. The ii stars is for Walker. I really liked him and thought he deserved a much better h than the one h I'm on a Romantic Suspense kick right now and I thought this book looked like it would be actually practiced. Well, it dragged on and on and on, I didn't think information technology would ever end. The h really was too stupid to alive and in fact I was hoping during i of the many idiotic things that she did to put herself in danger that she would actually end up dead so that the H could get on to someone worth being with. I liked Darcy a lot and fifty-fifty though I wasn't as curious near Walker as I was nearly Ty, I found I liked him a lot. Simply every. single. ane. of these books uses misunderstandings and misinterpretations to keep the main characters autonomously for most of the book and it gets tiring really fast. I liked Darcy a lot and even though I wasn't equally curious nigh Walker every bit I was about Ty, I found I liked him a lot.
